     hi. as the gentleman before me says....read...read and read some more...
    sometimes you csn learn alot more than you think when trying to find the answer to one question. ..as you come across alot more info on the way.
    Basically. ...current codes, are active codes.    pending codes, are codes that could become current (active) codes. ......but you will understand more ss you read those manuals.
